UFC 257 is a month away, and the promotion has already begun rolling out the pre-fight hype.

On Wednesday, the UFC released the official poster for its first pay-per-view event of 2021 – and it features Jan. 23 headliners Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor.

The upper half of the poster features a monochromatic staredown between lightweight contenders Poirier (26-6 MMA, 18-5 UFC) and McGregor (22-4 MMA, 10-2 UFC), while the bottom half and outside border is splattered with paint of each fighter’s respective home country. Poirier is drenched in blue and red for the U.S.; McGregor in green and orange for Ireland.

The fight between Poirier and McGregor will mark the second time the two have squared off. At UFC 178 in September 2014, McGregor defeated Poirier with a first-round knockout in a featherweight matchup.

UFC 257 takes place Jan. 23 on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi as part of the promotion’s three-event return to “Fight Island.” The main card streams on pay-per-view after prelims on ESPN/ESPN+.
