Tiger Woods has captured his 15th major title to cement an epic return from personal turmoil and injuries that once threatened his career.
The 43-year-old American superstar won the 83rd Masters Tournament in Augusta, Georgia, on Sunday, ending an 11-year drought since the 2008 U.S. Open.
Woods finished with a two-under par 70 to win on 13-under 275, one shot ahead of fellow Americans Xander Schauffele, Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka.
It marked his fifth green jacket and his first since 2005.
Meanwhile, Kim Si-woo finished tied for 21st place at the Masters for his best-ever performance at the season's first major.
The 23-year-old was the lone South Korean participant at this year's event.■
