 1.[창세기  1:18]
 낮과 밤을 주관하게 하시고 빛과 어둠을 나뉘게 하시니 하나님이 보시기에 좋았더라 
 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good.
 
 2.[창세기  1:3]
 하나님이 이르시되 빛이 있으라 하시니 빛이 있었고 
 And God said, Let there be light, and there was light.

 빛이 하나님이 보시기에 좋았더라 하나님이 빛과 어둠을 나누사
 God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness.

 하나님이 빛을 낮이라 부르시고 어둠을 밤이라 부르시니라 저녁이 되고 아침이 되니 이는 첫째 날이니라 
 God called the light day, and the darkness he called night. And there was evening, and there was morning-the first day.
 
 5.[창세기  30:40]
 야곱이 새끼 양을 구분하고 그 얼룩무늬와 검은 빛 있는 것을 라반의 양과 서로 마주보게 하며 자기 양을 따로 두어 라반의 양과 섞이지 않게 하며 
 Jacob set apart the young of the flock by themselves, but made the rest face the streaked and dark-colored animals that belonged to Laban. Thus he made separate flocks for himself and did not put them with Labans animals.

 When Joseph came to them the next morning, he saw that they were dejected.

 8.[출애굽기  10:23]
 그 동안은 사람들이 서로 볼 수 없으며 자기 처소에서 일어나는 자가 없으되 온 이스라엘 자손들이 거주하는 곳에는 빛이 있었더라 
 No one could see anyone else or leave his place for three days. Yet all the Israelites had light in the places where they lived.
 
 9.[출애굽기  39:28]
 세마포로 두건을 짓고 세마포로 빛난 관을 만들고 가는 베 실로 짜서 세마포 속바지들을 만들고 
 and the turban of fine linen, the linen headbands and the undergarments of finely twisted linen.
 
 10.[레위기  13:21]
 그러나 제사장이 진찰하여 거기 흰 털이 없고 피부보다 얕지 아니하고 빛이 엷으면 제사장은 그를 이레 동안 가두어둘 것이며 
 But if, when the priest examines it, there is no white hair in it and it is not more than skin deep and has faded, then the priest is to put him in isolation for seven days.
 
 11.[레위기  13:26]
 그러나 제사장이 보기에 그 색점에 흰 털이 없으며 그 자리가 피부보다 얕지 아니하고 빛이 엷으면 그는 그를 이레 동안 가두어둘 것이며 
 But if the priest examines it and there is no white hair in the spot and if it is not more than skin deep and has faded, then the priest is to put him in isolation for seven days.
 
 12.[레위기  13:28]
 만일 색점이 여전하여 피부에 퍼지지 아니하고 빛이 엷으면 화상으로 부은 것이니 제사장이 그를 정하다 할 것은 이는 화상의 흔적임이니라 
 If, however, the spot is unchanged and has not spread in the skin but has faded, it is a swelling from the burn, and the priest shall pronounce him clean; it is only a scar from the burn.
 
 13.[레위기  13:55]
 그 빤 곳을 볼지니 그 색점의 빛이 변하지 아니하고 그 색점이 퍼지지 아니하였으면 부정하니 너는 그것을 불사르라 이는 거죽에 있든지 속에 있든지 악성 나병이니라 
 After the affected article has been washed, the priest is to examine it, and if the mildew has not changed its appearance, even though it has not spread, it is unclean. Burn it with fire, whether the mildew has affected one side or the other.

 이르되 당신의 여종이 당신께 은혜 입기를 원하나이다 하고 가서 먹고 얼굴에 다시는 근심 빛이 없더라 
 She said, May your servant find favor in your eyes. Then she went her way and ate something, and her face was no longer downcast.

 그는 돋는 해의 아침 빛 같고 구름 없는 아침 같고 비 내린 후의 광선으로 땅에서 움이 돋는 새 풀 같으니라 하시도다 
 he is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings the grass from the earth.
 
 17.[열왕기상  7:45]
 솥과 부삽과 대접들이라 히람이 솔로몬 왕을 위하여 여호와의 성전에 이 모든 그릇을 빛난 놋으로 만드니라 
 the pots, shovels and sprinkling bowls. All these objects that Huram made for King Solomon for the temple of the LORD were of burnished bronze.

 솥과 부삽과 고기 갈고리와 여호와의 전의 모든 그릇들이라 후람의 아버지가 솔로몬 왕을 위하여 빛나는 놋으로 만들 때에 
 the pots, shovels, meat forks and all related articles. All the objects that Huram-Abi made for King Solomon for the temple of the LORD were of polished bronze.
 
 19.[에스라  8:27]
 또 금잔이 스무 개라 그 무게는 천 다릭이요 또 아름답고 빛나 금 같이 보배로운 놋 그릇이 두 개라 
 20 bowls of gold valued at 1,000 darics, and two fine articles of polished bronze, as precious as gold.

 주께서 사람을 영원히 이기셔서 떠나게 하시며 그의 얼굴 빛을 변하게 하시고 쫓아보내시오니 
 You overpower him once for all, and he is gone; you change his countenance and send him away.

 이스라엘의 빛은 불이 되고 그의 거룩하신 이는 불꽃이 되실 것이니라 하루 사이에 그의 가시와 찔레가 소멸되며

 하늘의 별들과 별 무리가 그 빛을 내지 아니하며 해가 돋아도 어두우며 달이 그 빛을 비추지 아니할 것이로다 
 The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light.

 여호와께서 자기 백성의 상처를 싸매시며 그들의 맞은 자리를 고치시는 날에는 달빛은 햇빛 같겠고 햇빛은 일곱 배가 되어 일곱 날의 빛과 같으리라 
 The moon will shine like the sun, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the LORD binds up the bruises of his people and heals the wounds he inflicted.

 여호와께서 거하시는 온 시온 산과 모든 집회 위에 낮이면 구름과 연기, 밤이면 화염의 빛을 만드시고 그 모든 영광 위에 덮개를 두시며 
 Then the LORD will create over all of Mount Zion and over those who assemble there a cloud of smoke by day and a glow of flaming fire by night; over all the glory will be a canopy.

 he says: It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth.

 그 날에 그들이 바다 물결 소리 같이 백성을 향하여 부르짖으리니 사람이 그 땅을 바라보면 흑암과 고난이 있고 빛은 구름에 가려서 어두우리라
 In that day they will roar over it like the roaring of the sea. And if one looks at the land, he will see darkness and distress; even the light will be darkened by the clouds.

 너희 중에 여호와를 경외하며 그의 종의 목소리를 청종하는 자가 누구냐 흑암 중에 행하여 빛이 없는 자라도 여호와의 이름을 의뢰하며 자기 하나님께 의지할지어다 
 Who among you fears the LORD and obeys the word of his servant? Let him who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the LORD and rely on his God.

 내 백성이여 내게 주의하라 내 나라여 내게 귀를 기울이라 이는 율법이 내게서부터 나갈 것임이라 내가 내 공의를 만민의 빛으로 세우리라 
 Listen to me, my people; hear me, my nation: The law will go out from me; my justice will become a light to the nations.
 
 101.[이사야  58:10]
 주린 자에게 네 심정이 동하며 괴로워하는 자의 심정을 만족하게 하면 네 빛이 흑암 중에서 떠올라 네 어둠이 낮과 같이 될 것이며 
 and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.
 
 102.[이사야  58:8]
 그리하면 네 빛이 새벽 같이 비칠 것이며 네 치유가 급속할 것이며 네 공의가 네 앞에 행하고 여호와의 영광이 네 뒤에 호위하리니 
 Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.
 
 103.[이사야  59:9]
 그러므로 정의가 우리에게서 멀고 공의가 우리에게 미치지 못한즉 우리가 빛을 바라나 어둠뿐이요 밝은 것을 바라나 캄캄한 가운데에 행하므로 
 So justice is far from us, and righteousness does not reach us. We look for light, but all is darkness; for brightness, but we walk in deep shadows.

 일어나라 빛을 발하라 이는 네 빛이 이르렀고 여호와의 영광이 네 위에 임하였음이니라 
 Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.

 다시는 낮에 해가 네 빛이 되지 아니하며 달도 네게 빛을 비추지 않을 것이요 오직 여호와가 네게 영원한 빛이 되며 네 하나님이 네 영광이 되리니 
 The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.
 
 106.[이사야  60:20]
 다시는 네 해가 지지 아니하며 네 달이 물러가지 아니할 것은 여호와가 네 영원한 빛이 되고 네 슬픔의 날이 끝날 것임이라 
 Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end.
 
 107.[이사야  60:3]
 나라들은 네 빛으로, 왕들은 비치는 네 광명으로 나아오리라 
 Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.

 그 때에 네가 보고 기쁜 빛을 내며 네 마음이 놀라고 또 화창하리니 이는 바다의 부가 네게로 돌아오며 이방 나라들의 재물이 네게로 옴이라 
 Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come.

 나는 시온의 의가 빛 같이, 예루살렘의 구원이 횃불 같이 나타나도록 시온을 위하여 잠잠하지 아니하며 예루살렘을 위하여 쉬지 아니할 것인즉 
 For Zions sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalems sake I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.
 
 110.[이사야  8:20]
 마땅히 율법과 증거의 말씀을 따를지니 그들이 말하는 바가 이 말씀에 맞지 아니하면 그들이 정녕 아침 빛을 보지 못하고 
 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn.

 흑암에 행하던 백성이 큰 빛을 보고 사망의 그늘진 땅에 거주하던 자에게 빛이 비치도다 
 The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.

 그가 어둠을 일으키시기 전, 너희 발이 어두운 산에 거치기 전, 너희 바라는 빛이 사망의 그늘로 변하여 침침한 어둠이 되게 하시기 전에 너희 하나님 여호와께 영광을 돌리라 
 Give glory to the LORD your God before he brings the darkness, before your feet stumble on the darkening hills. You hope for light, but he will turn it to thick darkness and change it to deep gloom.

 그가 이르기를 내가 나를 위하여 큰 집과 넓은 다락방을 지으리라 하고 자기를 위하여 창문을 만들고 그것에 백향목으로 입히고 붉은 빛으로 칠하도다 
 He says, I will build myself a great palace with spacious upper rooms. So he makes large windows in it, panels it with cedar and decorates it in red.
 
 114.[예레미야  25:10]
 내가 그들 중에서 기뻐하는 소리와 즐거워하는 소리와 신랑의 소리와 신부의 소리와 맷돌 소리와 등불 빛이 끊어지게 하리니 
 I will banish from them the sounds of joy and gladness, the voices of bride and bridegroom, the sound of millstones and the light of the lamp.
 
 115.[예레미야  31:35]
 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하셨느니라 그는 해를 낮의 빛으로 주셨고 달과 별들을 밤의 빛으로 정하였고 바다를 뒤흔들어 그 파도로 소리치게 하나니 그의 이름은 만군의 여호와니라 
 This is what the LORD says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar-the LORD Almighty is his name:

 I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the north-an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal,

 Their legs were straight; their feet were like those of a calf and gleamed like burnished bronze.

 그 칼이 날카로움은 죽임을 위함이요 빛남은 번개 같이 되기 위함이니 우리가 즐거워하겠느냐 내 아들의 규가 모든 나무를 업신여기는도다 
 sharpened for the slaughter, polished to flash like lightning! Shall we rejoice in the scepter of my son Judah? The sword despises every such stick.

 그 칼을 손에 잡아 쓸 만하도록 빛나게 하되 죽이는 자의 손에 넘기기 위하여 날카롭고도 빛나게 하였도다 하셨다 하라 
 The sword is appointed to be polished, to be grasped with the hand; it is sharpened and polished, made ready for the hand of the slayer.

 And you, son of man, prophesy and say, This is what the Sovereign LORD says about the Ammonites and their insults: A sword, a sword, drawn for the slaughter, polished to consume and to flash like lightning!

 In your marketplace they traded with you beautiful garments, blue fabric, embroidered work and multicolored rugs with cords twisted and tightly knotted.

 내가 너를 불 끄듯 할 때에 하늘을 가리어 별을 어둡게 하며 해를 구름으로 가리며 달이 빛을 내지 못하게 할 것임이여 
 When I snuff you out, I will cover the heavens and darken their stars; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon will not give its light.

 하늘의 모든 밝은 빛을 내가 네 위에서 어둡게 하여 어둠을 네 땅에 베풀리로다 주 여호와의 말씀이니라

 His body was like chrysolite, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude.

 Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.

 총독과 지사와 행정관과 왕의 모사들이 모여 이 사람들을 본즉 불이 능히 그들의 몸을 해하지 못하였고 머리털도 그을리지 아니하였고 겉옷 빛도 변하지 아니하였고 불 탄 냄새도 없었더라 
 and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them.

 The queen, hearing the voices of the king and his nobles, came into the banquet hall. O king, live forever! she said. Dont be alarmed! Dont look so pale!

 이에 왕의 즐기던 얼굴 빛이 변하고 그 생각이 번민하여 넓적다리 마디가 녹는 듯하고 그의 무릎이 서로 부딪친지라 
 His face turned pale and he was so frightened that his knees knocked together and his legs gave way.

 그러므로 벨사살 왕이 크게 번민하여 그의 얼굴빛이 변하였고 귀족들도 다 놀라니라 
 So King Belshazzar became even more terrified and his face grew more pale. His nobles were baffled.

 그 말이 이에 그친지라 나 다니엘은 중심에 번민하였으며 내 얼굴빛이 변하였으나 내가 이 일을 마음에 간직하였느니라
 This is the end of the matter. I, Daniel, was deeply troubled by my thoughts, and my face turned pale, but I kept the matter to myself.

 그러하온즉 우리 하나님이여 지금 주의 종의 기도와 간구를 들으시고 주를 위하여 주의 얼굴 빛을 주의 황폐한 성소에 비추시옵소서 
 Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, O Lord, look with favor on your desolate sanctuary.
 
 142.[호세아  6:3]
 그러므로 우리가 여호와를 알자 힘써 여호와를 알자 그의 나타나심은 새벽 빛 같이 어김없나니 비와 같이, 땅을 적시는 늦은 비와 같이 우리에게 임하시리라 하니라 
 Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.

 a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness. Like dawn spreading across the mountains a large and mighty army comes, such as never was of old nor ever will be in ages to come.

 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.

 The sun and moon will be darkened, and the stars no longer shine.

 Woe to you who long for the day of the LORD! Why do you long for the day of the LORD? That day will be darkness, not light.

 그의 광명이 햇빛 같고 광선이 그의 손에서 나오니 그의 권능이 그 속에 감추어졌도다 
 His splendor was like the sunrise; rays flashed from his hand, where his power was hidden.

 내가 밤에 보니 한 사람이 붉은 말을 타고 골짜기 속 화석류나무 사이에 섰고 그 뒤에는 붉은 말과 자줏빛 말과 백마가 있기로
 During the night I had a vision-and there before me was a man riding a red horse! He was standing among the myrtle trees in a ravine. Behind him were red, brown and white horses.
 
 156.[스가랴  14:6]
 그 날에는 빛이 없겠고 광명한 것들이 떠날 것이라 
 On that day there will be no light, no cold or frost.
 
 157.[스가랴  14:7]
 여호와께서 아시는 한 날이 있으리니 낮도 아니요 밤도 아니라 어두워 갈 때에 빛이 있으리로다 
 It will be a unique day, without daytime or nighttime-a day known to the LORD. When evening comes, there will be light.

 이 날에 그들의 하나님 여호와께서 그들을 자기 백성의 양 떼 같이 구원하시리니 그들이 왕관의 보석 같이 여호와의 땅에 빛나리로다 
 The LORD their God will save them on that day as the flock of his people. They will sparkle in his land like jewels in a crown.

 그 때에 의인들은 자기 아버지 나라에서 해와 같이 빛나리라 귀 있는 자는 들으라 
 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.
